Spring Form Manual - Precision Dynamics

Case Study

Customer: Kent Paper
Product:

Springform Manual Collar Dispenser

Issues:
How to erect the Springform without using pneumatics and keeping the costs to a minimum.
Solution:

We had previously designed and built a pneumatic machine to do this task. Kent Paper discovered they needed a simple solution for the small bakery. We decided that we would try to reduce the hand erecting time. We found that the most time consuming part was folding the small tabs on the bottom of the collar. With some experimenting we found a solution.

Outcome:
The Springform Manual Collar Dispenser now allows the end user to hand erect the product at 4 per minute. The product is now being used in bakeries in Australia.

Spring Form 1

Intended to replace your existing tins, the Spring Form 1 will change your baking process. It will be available in a variety of sizes. The Spring Form 1 comes in three flat pack parts, the base, the collar and the disk. The collar and the disk have a coating on them which allows you to cook without the use of any sprays.
